Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of LokoSnake, a free browser-based Snake game available at lokosnake.com. By using the site, playing the game, signing in, or submitting a score, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
LokoSnake provides a web game, optional sign-in, leaderboard features, and optional public player profile display. You can play without creating an account. Some features, such as saving a score to the leaderboard, require sign-in.
Eligibility
LokoSnake is a general-audience service. If you are under the age required to consent to online services in your location, use the service only with permission from a parent or guardian.
Accounts and Sign-In
If you sign in with Google or another supported provider, you are responsible for your account and for keeping it secure. You may not use another person's account or misrepresent your identity.
Leaderboard and Public Profile
Signed-in score submissions may appear publicly on the leaderboard with your best score, display name, nickname, avatar, or generated fallback avatar. We may remove, reset, or hide scores and profile information that appear abusive, fraudulent, offensive, automated, or technically invalid.
Acceptable Use
- Do not attack, scrape, overload, disrupt, or bypass protections on the service.
- Do not submit fraudulent scores, automate abuse, or tamper with game or API behavior.
- Do not use offensive, infringing, misleading, or unlawful profile content.
- Do not use the service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
Intellectual Property
LokoSnake, including its software, design, names, graphics, and site content, is owned by its operator or licensors. These Terms let you use the service for personal gameplay. They do not transfer ownership or grant permission to copy, reverse engineer, resell, or exploit the service except where allowed by law.
Third-Party Services
LokoSnake may rely on third-party services including Amazon Web Services, Google sign-in, Google Analytics, Gravatar, and DiceBear. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
Availability and Changes
The service is provided as-is and may change, pause, or stop at any time. We may update features, scoring rules, leaderboard behavior, or these Terms as the game evolves.
Disclaimers and Liability
LokoSnake is provided without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent allowed by law. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, scores, access, or profits.
